Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental Sciences (KVIDS) is a constituent institution of Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Lore for Learning (KVELL), established under the aegis of the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust. The Institute offers dental education supported by an attached 250-chair teaching hospital, providing clinical training alongside comprehensive patient care.

The undergraduate curriculum integrates foundational medical sciences through Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, enabling students to develop a strong grounding in medical knowledge alongside their dental education. Clinical training is complemented by community-based learning through rural postings, oral health programmes, and outreach camps.

With an emphasis on academic learning, clinical exposure, and community engagement, the Institute prepares graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional values essential for contemporary dental practice.

Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group started in 1993 by Thiru.S.Regupathy, B.Sc., B.L., Founder, MLA Government of Tamilnadu with the objective of rendering quality education and grooming efficient future citizens hence contributing to the nation-building process.

Getting around the Campus
At KVEG, walking and cycling are the most popular ways to get around the green campus. Many youth bicycles are available at various spots in the campus for students’ use. Battery operated cars too are available. With state-of-the-art security and 24 hour emergency services, we ensure safety and security for students to continue doing so.

ARTS & CULTURE

KVEG focuses continuously on enhancing the skills of its students by providing ample opportunities to explore their creativity.

Cultural programs are organized several times a year to encourage creative pursuits and nurture talent: students form teams and share responsibility in organizing these events. The impressive auditorium that accommodates 2000 students in ac comfort is a functional platform where students fuse with ease art, culture and creativity.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

The Dental institution and colleges (KIMS, KIDS, KVCN) of KVEG are open to the community around the campus as well to those in the district, because we believe that the extension of health and medical services to the under-privileged and needy is a significant service to society.

Students are often exposed to the community through camps and social work. Through this, students understand the problems in the community and learn to empathies, and find solutions to these problems.
